We are born with two types of fear. The first fear we are born with is the fear of falling. That is for a good reason. The second fear we are born with is loud noises. Another one that is for our own good since we are not even able to walk and the only voice we have is to cry.
As we grow we begin to accept that we are not going to fall and loud noises are something as we hit being a teen that becomes our favorite pass time. Examples of some of those loud times are with concerts, jamming in our cars and rocking our parents out of their own home.
Of course falling is something most of us get over through our toddle years with climbing. So the two fears we are born with we make peace with at an early age.
The thing that also happens is that we take on new fears and some of those fears stay with us throughout our life.
We take the new fears on through our Mothers, Fathers, Teachers and Preachers. Those are the four people that really have some power over our minds. Now they get this power due to the fact that we are taught to give it to them.
When you reach the age of about 13 to 18 of course you are fighting to get that power back. Now many of the four mentioned above will tell you it is a power struggle. And that you do not know everything.
They are correct. You do not know everything. The thing you do know is that you want your mind back. You want to look at the world through your eyes and process what you see with your own mind.
That is your birth right.
Now when you have done what you can to get that mind of yours back what do you do?
Where are you in life?
